Seventh National Report of the Republic of Belarus on the Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (2026)
The Republic of Belarus has submitted its Seventh National Report on the Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity among 125 out of 196 States Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, thus confirming the fulfillment by the Republic of Belarus of its obligations under the Convention and the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The periodic submission of national reports is part of the obligations set out in Article 26 of the Convention on Biological Diversity.

Polesskaya Population Horses
Published in 2025, the book explores one of Europe’s oldest aboriginal populations, which was formed under conditions of Polesie. Scientific materials and rare photographs reveal horses’ origin, their exterior and designation, as well as present-day challenges associated with their declining numbers. Particular attention is drawn to the role of Polesskaya horses in agriculture, sports, equine-assisted therapy, and environmental projects, as well as prospects for their conservation in the framework of national and international programs.
