Checkpoint for monitoring the utilization of genetic resources of the Republic of Belarus

The Institute of Genetics and Cytology, NAS of Belarus, has transferred the genetic material (tubers) of Belarusian diploid potato lines to the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution “K.A. Timiryazev Institute of Plant Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences” for non-commercial use (scientific research).

Compliance with the requirements of the Nagoya Protocol for the transfer of genetic resources (obtaining of a prior informed consent from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and concluding of mutually agreed terms between the provider and the user of genetic resources) is confirmed by the Certificate of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of April 24, 2018 No. 10-2-36/2040.
