The Republic of Belarus was represented by the National Coordination Centre on Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-sharing and a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.

The Conference, organized at the Czech Agricultural University under FAO auspices, was attended by the representatives of 15 countries of the Region  ̶  the Western Balkans, the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus Region.

Participants shared experience in the conservation of biological diversity and genetic resources used in agriculture and for food.
