The Republic of Belarus acceded to the Nagoya Protocol pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of May 22, 2014 No. 235 and is governed by this International Treaty until the development and entry into force of national legal regulatory frameworks in ABS.
The Legislation Section compiles the normative legal acts of the Republic of Belarus and international treaties related to the regulation of access to genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge and sharing of benefits arising from their utilization.
