On May 22, 2019 Belarus celebrates the International Day for Biological Diversity
On 22 May 2019, within the framework of the International Technical Assistance Project “Strengthening of human resources, legal frameworks and institutional capacities to implement the Nagoya Protocol in the Republic of Belarus” of March 30, 2018 No. 2/18/000874, a workshop entitled “Biological diversity and traditional knowledge related to the genetic resources’ use – the basis for the conservation of natural resources and human health” will be held in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve. The workshop is timed to the International Day for Biological Diversity proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1995. The 2019 theme of the International Day for Biological Diversity is “Our Biodiversity, Our Food, Our Health”.
