NATIONAL COORDINATION CENTRE ON ACCESS TO GENETIC RESOURCES AND BENEFIT-SHARING

Checkpoint for monitoring the utilization of genetic resources of the Republic of Belarus

Higher education:

  • The Belarusian State University (the Faculty of Biology);
  • The School of Business of the Belarusian State University (Web Design and Computer Graphics);
  • A full-time PhD course at the Institute of Genetics and Cytology, NAS of Belarus.

Responsibilies:

  • Administrative and scientific support for applications on access to genetic resources;
  • Ensuring the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development and Activity Plans of the Centre in accordance with its functions provided for by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of October 1, 2014, No. 933;
  • Liaison with state administration authorities, external organizations, the structural subdivisions of the Institute and other stakeholders and the public on the issues falling under the scope of competence of the National Coordination Centre on Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit-Sharing.
